I have a smaller frame and long period (Days 1-2 are light, days 3-4 are heavy, and days 5-6 are light). Before I began using this brand it was always a little painful to change my tampon on days 1-2 and 5-6. Once I began using these there has been NO pain. A word of warning though: on your heavy day you have to change them more frequently than you used to with the thicker tampons. On my heaviest day I have to change them every 1 to 2 hours.
